Our unexpected beginning
Antony and Sarah’s story started in first grade, playing on the playground at recess, blossomed into a high school romance, and evolved into a shared dream of opening a food truck. After years of honing their culinary and hospitality skills in various restaurants, they got married in August of 2025. Less than a month later, they were approached with the opportunity to purchase Nicky & Smitty's. A small step up from a food truck. Life moved quickly, transforming them from newlyweds to business owners in under six months. This rapid journey solidified their commitment to each other and their new venture, fueled by a desire to give back to the Cleveland community that raised them.
The heart of hospitality
For us, hospitality is about making every guest feel truly welcome and cared for from the moment they step through our doors until they leave. It means ensuring a seamless experience, from ordering to enjoying your meal, and carrying that feeling with you throughout your day. This deep commitment comes from a genuine love for what we do, and it's that love that we believe makes our food and our restaurant stand out from the rest.
Giving back to Cleveland
The Cleveland community has been instrumental in our journey, taking a chance on us and supporting our dreams. We are incredibly grateful and eager to reciprocate that support. Our vision for Nicky & Smitty's extends beyond serving great food; we plan to actively give back to the communities that helped raise us, as well as to organizations that are close to our hearts and have assisted us along the way. We envision expanding our contributions to other parts of the greater Cleveland area in the coming years, strengthening the bonds that tie us together.
